In March 2019, her second album, *When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?*, written and produced with her brother, was released. It reached number one on the US Billboard 200.

In March 2022, Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "No Time to Die." In March 2024, she and Finneas O'Connell won the same Oscar again for "What Was I Made For?" from the film *Barbie*.
