Culture Club (Boy George) founded in 1981 by singer Boy George and bassist Mickey Craig. They will be joined by Jon Moss on drums and synthesizer and Roy Hay on guitar. The first album "Kissing to Be Clever" of the English group was released in 1982 and became a worldwide hit thanks to the single Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, number one in several countries.

Other albums will follow such as: Color by Numbers and Karma Chameleon, which talks about the long hidden relationship between Boy George and Jon Moss. Culture Club broke up in late 1986 early 1987, shortly before the end of the promotion of the album From Luxury to Heartache and the two main singles God Thank You Woman, with a music video paying tribute to the various actresses of the cinema of the 50s -60 like Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren and other actresses, After a short slump, Boy George now runs a disc jockey label and has continued a career as a soloist.
