ABBA The initials of the four first names forming the acronym and palindrome and it was not until 1976 that the now famous ambigram (with an inverted B) was used as the logo. ABBA is a Swedish pop music group founded in Stockholm in November 1970.

The group was originally composed of Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad (known as Frida), Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. ABBA big winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with the song Waterloo, number one on an international scale, ABBA began his career modestly with the titles People Need Love in 1972, Ring Ring in 1973, (which will nevertheless rank third in the Swedish preselections for that same contest that year), Hasta Mañana (in some countries) in 1974 and I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do and SOS in 1975.

Throughout their career, the musical hits will follow. Faced with its declining popularity and without however officially announcing its dissolution, ABBA made its last public appearance on television on December 11, 1982.

However, during an interview granted to a Swedish magazine published on January 23, 1984, Agnetha confided that each of the members wanted to develop their solo careers and that it was unlikely that the members of ABBA would resume their careers.

In January 1986, ABBA reunited for one last filmed song (Tivedshambo), in honor of Stig Anderson, their former manager. ABBAMania continues, with Tribute. In France, the best tribute of the ABBA group is "ABBA FOR EVER", which covers perfectly and live the greatest hits of the ABBA group.
